It all started with a personal need.
Before creating Apricotte, we were on the other side: looking for answers and products that would help us feel better.
That search turned into a constant quest to find the best. It led us to research, compare lenses and filters, examine their differences, and keep looking when something didn’t convince us. We learned that two pairs of glasses can look the same but filter light very differently. That’s why we needed to look beyond the promises: to understand what each lens did and which data we could trust.
Apricotte was founded in 2017. It was born out of a personal passion and an idea that continues to guide us: to offer products whose design and features serve a purpose.
Since then, we've continued to learn, refine our filters, and expand our approach to working with light.
You might fall in love with a pair of frames at first sight. But to choose the right lenses, you need to know a little more.
That is why we place great importance on the characteristics of each filter, its transmission curves, and the tests used to verify its performance. Our lenses are analyzed at Eyco Laboratories, an independent laboratory specializing in spectrophotometry and ophthalmic optics testing, accredited by ENAC.
Our collection includes different lenses for different situations: clear and yellow for daytime; orange and red for nighttime. Each has a specific filter profile and a recommended use.

What Matters to Us

Every filter, every material, and every finish passes through our hands before it reaches yours. The lenses are tested at Eyco, an independent laboratory accredited by ENAC, so you don’t have to take our word for it.
2. Clarity to Help You Choose.
We’ll tell you what each lens filters out, when to use it, and how far its protection extends. Clear and yellow lenses for daytime; orange and red lenses for nighttime. No fine print or promises we can’t explain.
3. Design for enjoyment.
Since 2017, we’ve assembled the largest collection of blue-light-blocking eyewear models on the Spanish market, because good lenses are useless if the frames just sit in a drawer.
